Isabella Fea Peace and John Grant

Isabella Fea Peace married John Grant from Bower, Caithness.  They had children:

• Janet Grant (b. 1828)
• Robert Davidson Grant (b. 1830) who married Ann Bain from Westray.  They were living in Westray at least from the time of the 1861 census.
• Lexy Leith Grant (b. 26th February 1839, d. October 1840)
• Ann Traill Grant (b. 1835) who married James Symington in 1858.  He died in 1872 and she remarried James’s business partner in Leith, Henry Mouncey Barker.
• Isabella Sherar Grant (b. 1842)
• John Grant (b. circa 1845)

They moved from Stronsay to Kirkwall, where they can be found at the time of the 1881 census. John Grant Snr died in 1885.   Isabella Fea Peace died in 1888 in Leith at the home of her daughter Ann Traill Grant.
