Elizabeth Fea was the lawful daughter of William Guthrie and Anne Hepburn, but appears to have been adopted by David and Elizabeth Fea. She was born at St Andrews, Orkney, on 8th July, 1845 and was baptised at Kirkwall. She migrated to Adelaide with her parents when she was eight years of age.
Elizabeth married George Hunt (Jnr) on 7th May, 1868 at the dwelling house of Mr. David Fea, Logan Street, Adelaide. James Lyall, Presbyterian Minister, performed the marriage. George was a retail draper with a business in Rundle Street, Adelaide.
Elizabeth and George had four children
Elizabeth died on 8th February, 1875, aged 29 years
On the 8th February, at the residence of her father,
Mr. D Fea, Logan St. Elizabeth Guthrie, the beloved wife of Mr. George
Hunt of Rundle-street, aged 29 years. Also at the same
place, on the 4th February, Clarence George, infant and only son of the
above, aged four months.
