She returned to South Australia and married Henry Charles Wilson Pearce (1860 (London) - 1962) in 1926. Henry was a Civil Servant, Brake Inspector, of 15 Buller Street, Prospect, SA. He had previously been married and had a son, Henry Charles Warren Pearce, born 16th January, 1900.

Edith died 14th September, 1920 aged 51 years - Cerebral Oedema - Influenza
