William Fea and Lucy Fenner

William was born on 29th December, 1865/6, at Kirkwall, third child of  James Fea and Mary Kemp.

In the 1881 census he was at Eday with his folk, described as a shepherd's son aged 15 years.

William married Lucy Fenner on 21st September, 1893, at Cook County, Illinois, USA  Lucy was born 6th December, 1870, in Canada.

They lived at 614 North Waller Avenue, Chicago, in 1900 and at  651 Laurel Avenue, Chicago, in 1910.

Their children were:

Fea, Eleanor   Vol. 132  E.D.  154  Sheet 1  Line 22  (white)  22  Illinois   Cook Co., Oak Park, Pleasant St.  #208.  Enumerated with Fraser, Lucy; relationship to above - daughter

In the 1900 census, Lucy is listed as a widow so it would appear that William died sometime between Oct. 1897 and when the census was taken June 1, 1900 (since the youngest child is just short of two years old and would have been conceived about Oct 1897 to have been born mid-June of 1898).  It lists Lucy as having had 3 children, of which all 3 are living, that she was born in Canada, as were both her parents.  It says she migrated to the U.S. in 1885.  No occupation is listed for her.

Lucy married Forsyth Fraser (1888-1927) born Arbroath, Scotland.
