He took an M.A. degree in 1817. In 1818, he married Henrietta Barnsley Lynne, the daughter of Robert Lynn of Belfast. He obtained his LL.B and LL.D in 1823 and then went to Oxford where he was incorporated in Magdalen College on 1st July 1824. A couple of years later, he published a book of poems. John Fea and Henrietta Lynne had two sons and three daughters. The sons were:
John Fea died in Belfast, where he was living. This was some time prior to 1844, when his father died. It is thought that his sons, Robert and Frederick Fea, left Belfast. | |||
