Barbara Fea, the daughter of James Fea V of Clestrain and Barbara Traill married James Traill III of Westove c 5th December 1712.  James was a son of Thomas Traill of Westove and Anna Graham while Barbara was a granddaughter of Thomas Traill’s sister, Isabel Traill, and James Fea IV of Clestrain.  In consequence she was marrying a first cousin of her mother.   Fea / Traill genealogy can get a little confusing.   See Traill Genealogy generally for Fea \ Traill connections.

They had the following children -

• Thomas Traill of Westove whom married Marion Stewart , the daughter of Archibald Stewart of Brugh and had children:
• James Traill of Westove who married Ann Tulloch c. 5th November  1785
• John Traill of Westove
• Dr Thomas Traill who died in India
• Rev Walter Traill , who married twice: (1) Margaret MacBeath, (2) Katherine Watt on 15th August 1825
• Isabel Traill
• Barbara Traill who married Rev Alex Alcock
• Barbara Traill who married Patrick Fea of Airy .  This was the son of Charles Fea of Airy and Barbara Mein.
• Helen Traill who married Jerome Dennison of Noltland c. 24th August 1773
