David Hourston Fraser

David Hourston Fraser (b. 17th July 1857) was the fifth of the six children of James Fraser and Janet Hourston. He was born in Eday but with the family at Berryhill, St Ola on the Orkney mainland by 1881.

He, like many Orcadians, emigrated to Racine Wisconsin. He married and with his wife, Rosella (b. July 1866), had at least six children who were born in Wisconsin:

• Rosemund Fraser, born June1891

• Horace Fraser, born July 1891 and died in Rock Co, Wisconsin in March 1966

• Irene Fraser, born Nov 1892

• Archie Fraser, born 1895

• Walter Fraser, born 22nd December 1897 and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in December 1976

• Albert Fraser, born in 1902. Albert is thought to have died in Racine on 9th November 1988.
