From the Boat: Cott

This is one of a series of photos taken from the boat going from Kirkwall to Rapness in Westray, along the west side of Pharay. They were taken on a November morning when conditions were not ideal but they give a feeling for the position of the houses on the island and their proximity to the sea.

	While Cott lies to the north of the island, the island narrows considerably and hence the proximity to the shore. Following the road north brings one to Quoy and south to Doggerboat.
