From the Boat: Quoy

This is one of a series of photos taken from the boat going from Kirkwall to Rapness in Westray, along the west side of Pharay. They were taken on a November morning when conditions were not ideal but they give a feeling for the position of the houses on the island and their proximity to the sea.

	Quoy is the most notherly house on the island. Lavey Sound and the Pharay Holm lie to the north. Cott lies down the road to the south. Setting aside the actual Point of Scaraber in the south end, the island is at its narrowest in the north.
