Jane Swannie and John Hutchison

Jane Swannie (b. 10th January 1850) was the fourth child of Isabella Lennie and John Swannie. She married John Hutchison (b. 21st April 1858) from Noltland in October 1884. John was the son of Archibald Hutchison and Isabella Harcus.

The children of Jane Swannie and John Hutchison included:

• Isabella Hutchison b. 10th July 1882

• Archibald Hutchison b. 13th April 1885

• Margaret Sinclair Rendall Hutchison b. 14th October 1886

• James Swannie Hutchison b. 6th October 1888

• John Edward Hutchison b. 21st March 1891

The family were at Noltland No 1 on Westray at the time of the 1891 census when John was shown as a farm servant. They subsequently left the island.
