Introduction / Families / Leslie Millie J LeslieMillie J Leslie was the daughter of coachbulder Robert Leslie and Margaret J Isbister. She was born in Junction Road, Kirkwall on 14th November 1905. She was a teacher at the Pharay School from probably the summer of 1923 until September 1926. Her parents were married in Firth / Stenness in 1892. There is no immediately apparent connection with other Leslies from Westray with Millie’s parental grandfather according to one census being born in St Ola. She married plasterer Andrew Tait. Andrew died on 7th April 1985 and Millie on 5th August 1991. She was eighty five. | |||
