William Stewart Drummond

William Stewart Drummond (b. 30th September 1865) was the eldest son of Alexander Drummond and Jemima Benston. He emigrated to the US in 1888.

He married Isabella Rich Cutt in Racine Co., Wisconsin on 27th April 1889. Isabella was the daughter of James Cutt and Mary Smith and born at Carpiequoy, Eday on 31st May 1863.

They had at four children:

• Isabella Drummond, born 13th September 1890 in Racine, Wisconsin who married Charles Roberts. They had family. Isabella died on 31st December 1984.

• Alexander Drummond, born abt. January 1894; died Racine on 2nd April 1894 at 10 weeks old.

• Frank Drummond, born abt. 1896 who married Gertrude Ann Gehring. They had family.

• Robert A Drummond, born 3rd July 1901 who married Mary Theilen. He died on 6th May 1945 and is interred in the Mound Cemetery, Racine Co.

The family were at Mount Pleasant, Racine Co at the time of the 1910 and 1920 censuses. Isabella Cutt died on 21st March 1923.

William remarried in Racine Co on 17th November 1925. His second wife was Lauretta J Gall (b. 6th January 1898), the daughter of Joseph Gall and Mary Haala. William and Lauretta had a son.

William died on 22nd July 1956 and Lauretta on 9th March 1977.
