The burial ground is right next to the shore by Kirk Noust. This is on
the west side of the island and a short distance north west of Lakequoy.
There are a good thirty gravestones although some are merely the remains of
broken stones and others are difficult to read. However, quite a number of the gravestones are decipherable and provide an
ongoing record of those who lived and died on the island. |
