Doggerboat on looking north from the Pharay School. It was a Harcus house for around 135 years until Peter Harcus and Jessie Moodie moved to Galtiha, Eday in the 1940s.

It was from the high ground of Doggerboat that John Harcus first saw the wreck of the Hope in the early morning light of 29th December 1908.
