The Ness is the most southerly house on Pharay and lies just above the jetty. It is very much associated with the Drummonds and subsequently the Wallaces.

Looking south from the Ness, there is the Point of Scaraber at the south end of Pharay and across the sea to the Point of Fersness on Eday. See also the Ness from the boat.
