William Gray and Ann Foulis

William Gray and Ann Foulis were cousins. William was the son of John Gray and Eliza Rosie while Ann was a daughter of James Foulis and Ann Gray. They were both grandchildren of David Gray and Ann Harcus. See Foulis Genealogy (2)

They married on 21st June 1923 in Holm. William farmed and bred Belgian horses at East Graves in Holm. Annie was a domestic servant there at the time of their wedding. They had no children.

Ann died at the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall on 2nd September 1940. The informant to her death was Margaret J Garrioch, a cousin, of Rowan Cottage, Holm.
