William Harcus and Pauline Louise Davis

William Dunnet Harcus was the youngest child of Isabella Dunnet and Robert Harcus, born on Eday 3rd June 1875.  He married Pauline Louise Davis in Seattle, Washington on 13th June 1924.  Pauline, was born about 1896 and had previously been married to Felix Tramblay from whom she was divorced.  William and Pauline had three sons born in Seattle in the 1920s and divorced in 1931. 

As a young man William immigrated to the US aboard the Majestic from Liverpool, arriving in New York on 2nd April 1896.  He made his way to Seattle where he was a house carpenter in 1900.  He had several jobs generally relating to building maintenance and management and eventually became manager of the Peoples Bank Building on Pike Street.  He died 13th December 1941 in a Seattle hospital, as a result of accidentally falling down stairs at work during a blackout and fracturing his hip.
