Rendall

There were two Rendall families on Pharay in latter years although not related. One came directly from Westray while the other came from Eday although originating in Westray:

• James Rendall and Mary Stevenson who were at Hammar from around 1915 until 1937

• Balfour Rendall and Maggie Ann Gray who were at Windywa from 1928 until 1947
