Agnes Logie, was the fourth child and third daughter of Archibald Logie and his wife Agnes Mowat. She was born in Westray on 17th September 1868, and was included in her father's household in Pierowall in the 1871, 1881, and 1891 censuses. In the 1891 census, when she was 22 years old, her occupation was "General servant domestic".

Agnes married Thomas Thomson, an engine fitter or engineer (sometimes Thompson; born 1871, son of Alexander Thomson and Joan Bain) in Edinburgh on 24th December 1897. It is not known whether they had any children - there were no children listed with them in the 1901 census, when they were living at 74 Gorgie Road, Edinburgh.
