William Rendall and Jane Harcus

William Rendall b. 28^th December 1890 was the oldest son of John Rendall and Isabella Paterson. He married Jane Harcus (b. 2^nd November 1868) from Windywall, the oldest daughter of Stewart Harcus and Mary Harcus in July 1892.

William and Jane are known to have had six children born in Westray:

• Mary Harcus Rendall b. 12^th August 1892

• John Rendall b. 31^st March 1894

• Isabella Rendall b. 6^th January 1896

• Stewart Harcus Rendall b. 4^th November 1900

• Rebecca Jane Harcus b. 26^th May 1906

• William Rendall b. 20^th May 1911

Similarly to most of William Rendall's brothers and sisters, most of William and Jane's children left the island.
