"Erected in memory of James Drever who died Oct 1865, aged 36 years. Mary Harcus, his wife, died June 1869, aged 40 years. Peter, their son, died April 1865, aged 2 years. John, died Feb 16 1877, aged 21 years."

James Drever, Hammar and his wife Mary Hercus from Doggerboat. They lived at Hammar and died young, leaving six children under the age of fourteen.
