Jemima Paul Rendall

Jemima Paul Rendall (b. 14th March 1856) was one of eleven children to George Rendall and Sarah Yorston.

She had a daughter Mary Rendall at her parent's house at West Swanson on 17th October 1877.

Jemima subsequently married William Drever of Gretna Green on 27th June 1884. He was the son of Thomas Drever and Seatter Logie and a farm servant at Skaill at the time.

Jemima's daughter Mary Rendall had a son Balfour Rendall on 7th March 1894 to Thomas Drever Rendall. The father was the son of David Rendall and Mary Drever from Lakequoy.

She married James Scollay, also from Westray, in Kirkwall on 27th August 1900. They were to have fourteen of a family.

Thomas Drever Rendall married Elizabeth Groat from Broughton in Westray on 29th November 1901 and they had eight of a family.

Mary's son Balfour Rendall was to marry Maggie Ann Gray from Eday.
