George McDonald Rendall and Georgina Hutchison

George McDonald Rendall (b. 14^th July 1873) was the last of four children born to William Rendall and Margaret Rendall from Peatwall.

In September 1891, he married Georgina Hutchison who was born on 26^th September 1869. Georgina was the second of three daughters of seaman John Hutchison and Mary Logie from Farravald in Westray.

George's occupation was a fisherman. They stayed at Peatwall where their three children were born:

• Mary Ann Rendall b. 6^th November 1891 married Sinclair Rendall from Stanegeo on 19^th December 1912. They had a daughter the following year.

• William Rendall b. 3^rd August 1893 who on 29^th January 1913 married Catherine Rendall from Stanegeo. They had family born at Peatwall.

• Margaret Lennie Rendall b. 26^th September 1905

Daughter Mary Ann's husband, Sinclair Rendall, and son William Rendall's wife, Catherine Rendall from Stanegeo were brother and sister. They were the two of the ten children of David Rendall and Betsy Pottinger.

The grandmother of Mary Ann and William Rendall's father, George Rendall, was Margaret Lennie. Margaret Lennie's sister, Marjorie Lennie, was the mother of Sinclair and Catherine Rendall's father, David Rendall.

Georgina Hutchison died at Bucklesberry on 23^rd November 1950 and George McDonald Rendall four years later on 22^nd February 1955.
