Jessie Williamina Seatter and David Seatter

Jessie Williamina Tulloch Seatter was the oldest child and only daughter of Ann Tulloch and her husband George Seatter, and was born in Westray on 4th March 1855. She married David Seatter, a farmer (son of John Seatter and Marion Drever, born 8th June 1856), and was recorded at Goltiquoy, Westray, in the 1881, 1891, and 1901 censuses.

Jessie and David had the following known children:

• Ann Seatter, born 6th November 1880

• John Seatter, born 31st March 1882.

• George William Seatter, born 27th September 1883

• Jessie Seatter, born 25th January 1886

• David Seatter, born 1st August 1887

• Thomas Drever Seatter, born 25th February 1890. He died at Goltiquoy on 11th July 1975.

David died in 1891, and Jessie died in 1937. Their gravestone inscription reads:

Erected By Jessie Williamina Tulloch Seater In Memory Of Her Beloved Husband David Seater Born 8th July 1856 And Died 6th Aug 1891 Also The Above Jessie Williamina Tulloch Seater Who Died At Goltiquoy 5th June 1937 Aged 82 Years Gone But Not Forgotten
