"Erected by Peter Harcus and Jane Drummond in memory of their son Robert who died 27th April 1862, aged 3¾ years. Also of their son Peter who died 24th May 1868, aged 8 years." Peter Hercus, Doggerboat and his first wife and cousin, Jane Drummond, from Holland. Peter and Jane lived at Holland. Their third child survived, married and had family See stone 11, which is particularly weathered but could be the stone for
Peter Hercus.
